Optional items can be added on at any time without returning the VSM7 to the manufacturer
The VSM7 incorporates a state-of-the-art configurable digital platform, which features four optional external digital modules: a noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP) module, a mainstream capnography (CO2) module, an invasive blood pressure (IBP) module, and a digital documentation capability (DDC) module. To use these modules with the VSM7, simply connect them to the VSM7 through the corresponding ports. The VSM7 will automatically be re-configured and ready to use instantly.
This configurable digital platform allows veterinarians to choose a configuration best fit their clinical needs and budget, and later upgrade the VSM7 to meet their growing monitoring needs without returning the unit to the manufacturer.
Digital documentation capabilit
The VSM7 offers advanced digital documentation capability (DDC). The VSM7 automatically, or at the touch of a button, saves recorded data (waveforms, readings, and trends) on a USB flash drive. Simply plug the USB flash drive, along with the DDC module, to the back of the VSM7, and after recording, take the USB flash drive to your personal computer (PC) to transfer the saved data to the PC.
With included data management software or your existing practice management software, you can then review and manage the data, email cases for consultations, present the information to your clients directly on your PC or by printing out reports through any PC-compatible printers.
Ink-jet printing
At the touch of a button, the VSM7 prints on-screen waveforms and readings, trend graphics of all parameters, and stored BP readings, on 8.5” X 11” plain papers, unlike other vital signs monitors on the market which print on strip thermal paper. The standard copier paper printouts are much easier to file.
