Features:
The Multi-stationed Lab/Research Anaesthesia System is the newest self-contained unit in the industry. The multi-station unit combines an anaesthesia delivery and an optional evacuation system in all in one. It allows a base unit with multiple stations to be controlled individually. Using a master flow meter and additional auxiliary flowmeters, a single unit can run from two to six stations with one machine and one vaporizer. With an easy-to-follow flow chart, "Each individual station can deliver a different percentage of anaesthesia that is needed or required, without effecting any other station".
A coaxial tube is used in conjunction with the mask. By placing the rodents nose into the inner cone, it receives the delivered fresh gas. When the rodent exhales, it is picked up by the suction and pulled around the inner cone through the outside hose to in-house suction, or filtered through the research systems charcoal system. Three different size diaphragms are available for the rodent masks. The unit is simple to use, yet a safe and effective way of anaesthetic delivery and evacuation.
Because of the flow characteristics and design, the unit is available in two (2), four (4), and six (6) stations systems.
